with another four attempts to make it through the challenge, kyle wonders if he's just wasting money at this point or not. he assumes it's the case, but he's foolish enough to follow it regardless.

he's only been here for like four times but he's already lost count of how many bergmites he's seen. it's not like he's irritated though since at least they're not as ugly as darumakas.

the fire fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the bergmite. its icy armor starts to melt off with the move's intensity as the pokemon screams in agony. the only way to save it is to catch it and sacrifice it to necrozma.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.

kyle feels bad for the snom when it shows itself. there's only one conclusion to this encounter, and kyle is ready to avert his gaze when it happens.

the fire fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the snom. it is quick to burn with its very flammable typing. it is only when kyle smells the burning flesh of the bug that he turns back to it.

the trapinch honestly brought memories since he always had one at some point, though he ended up giving those away. he wonders if this one will stay with him. probably not though.

the mightyena attacks the trapinch, much like every other encounter at this point. it changes the element of its fang to an ice fang because it's smart enough to know type advantages. the trapinch freezes because it's a ground-type.

kyle throws a pokeball at the trapinch before it actually dies from the jaws of a mightyena.

he picks up the pokeball that caught the trapinch and moves on to the next. the wooper was the next unfortunate victim and the mightyena goes for it as soon as both the pokemon and the trainer notices it.

the ice fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the wooper. there's no reaction at first before frost starts to form on its head. it starts trying to wriggle free, but there is no escape for the wooper for there is only death awaiting it.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.
